Sounds like the thermostat, the way to verify is to unplug indoor unit, remove thermostat, take pic of wiring with phone or label the wires as to the terminals. Carefully twist the yellow,(Y) Red (R) and the green (G) together. Plug the furnace back in, if the unit operates normally, replace the thermostat. I am basing this on the fact that the blower speed is changing. This could also be an anomaly within the circuit board in the furnace section, not likely though as the outside unit (condenser) is not controlled n by the indoor board unless this is a heat pump. hope this helps. Can you tell me what size/make of motorhome you have? Certainly doesn"t sound right to me, and I've been working on them for over 15yrs. Whether it's a 13,500 BTU or 15,000 BTU, it should be plenty as long as motorhome has any insulation at all. I assume you have central air from ceiling? The manufacturer usually states that the AC unit will supply 20F below ambient. Is compressor staying engaged all this time?
Hi, It just got so hot that the unit kicked out on high head pressure... Check the outside condenser coil for dirt... wash it out with soap and water so that you can get maximum air flow through it...
Clean evap and cond coils
Place hand on a/c if too hot during the day but cool at night
then freon is being restricted in the condensor
Cleaning coils may help days
Put a trickle of water on the condensor during the day for a test.

'Breakers' - are tripped because they are exceeding their amp limits.
The 'hotter' it gets outside - the 'harder' your AC has to work - and under normal circumstances this is not a problem - but when you have a fan motor or a compressor that is starting to 'break-down' (electrically) - often the AC's amp draw will exceed the limits of the breaker - thus 'tripping' the breaker.
I would suspect either the fan motor or the compressor is causing your breaker problem.
Eventually - the component (either the fan mtr or compressor) that is 'going bad' will go out completely and your breaker will 'trip' and not stay on when you try to reset it.
At this point you will need a Service Tech to determine which one is bad.
There is a possibility that your condenser coil (the one that blows hot air) is 'dirty' which will also cause a problem similar to the one you have - but it is less likely.
Also - if you've had the AC 're-charged' lately - it's possible you are in a 'over-charged' condition - but again, this is not very likely.
If you have clamp tester / read the label of the compressor how many amphere register give allowance 5 amphere during testing time if register for example 3 to 5 amphere the label is 3 amphere is good the compressor / but it will register 0.5 or 15 amphere or up the compressor is badly replace.
