Hey, i have a samsung cellular phone the model is a sgh-d807 and when i turn the phone on its stuck on a white screen that says sgh-d807 on the top and samsung at the bottom, is there any way i can fix it without sending it in?

This is a software issue. You will need to contact your service provider for replacement options!

yes the screen can be replaced and you can look up a replacement screen from ebay for example.

u broke your phone becus i did the same thing and had to buy a new phone sorrythat happened

hey i think the firmware has got corrupted due to some virus attack ...
the files needed for some operations has got corrupted so you are facing that problem ...

if you install the new firmware then it will work fine ...
to install new firmware you need to visit to the technician ...
the technician will be have the special DKU series cable which offers to reset the codes to default,for flashing, etc ...

otherwise if you have this DKU series cable you can do it yourself by downloading the firmware from the net ...
so if you dnt have then just visit the technician & get it done...

take the phone and have it flash

1. If you have changed your phone password, change your password back to the default 8 zeros (00000000).
   NOTE (Modification here by my experience): Go to SETTINGS, SECURITY, then SIM LOCK and disable this before proceeding.
2. 
   Put a SIM card that is from a network other than the one your phone is locked to.
3. 
   When Incorrect SIM error comes up, input *#9998*3323#.
4. 
   White screen will appear with an exit option. Press the right softkey.
5. 
   From the menu that appears, select the Malloc Fail option. This will reboot the phone and the normal service screens will appear.
6. 
   Type *0141# and then press the green call key. "Personalization" or "Personalized" will appear.
7. 
   Turn off your phone and put the original SIM back in.
8. 
   Turn on your phone. You will receive a prompt to enter a password.
9. 
   Type 8 zeros (00000000) (This is because the SIM LOCK Mentioned earlier gets switched back on)
10. 
    Completed. You have now unlocked your phone.
    
    You now have an UNLOCKED Samsung D807
11. 
    With the studio software from samsung you are able to edit and move contacts from your phone to the sim and back. Or copy from the phone and put them on the sim card.

Call the service provider for a firmware update if your able to get it past the logo screen. I went thru 3phones and 2 had the problem.. I just hit the back top of the phone on the ground it went fine :-)

try to tun it on by taking out memory card if its get strated then ur h set is hitted with virus format memory card if problem persists contact motorola service centre coz hardware issue
