Check the Wii remote battery life. Dead batteries in Wii remotes can cause the Wii console to turn itself off. If this is the problem, remove the dead batteries and insert new ones. If they're rechargeable, recharge the batteries.
If this is not the problem, your Wii console might not be working properly. Visit support.nintendo.com or call 1-800-255-3700 for more information.

Wii remote keeps going off by itself and does not come back on. all it does is blink

the Wii remote might not be synched to your console.
Try first pressing the 1 and 2 buttons at the same time while on your Wii's home screen. If the remote was synched before, this should re-sync it.
If not, open the small panel on the front of the Wii, just below the disc slot. There will be a red button there. There is also a red button inside of the battery compartment on your Wii remote. Press the button on the front of the Wii console first, then press the button on the Wii remote. The lights should blink a couple of times and one should remain blue. If so, it is synched and ready to use.
Hope this helped!

Wii went dead after power surge

Hi,

Please visit the site HERE it.You will find a solution to your problem.

I would also suggest holding the power button on the Wii Remote itself to turn it on, or unplug your Wii Console's power cable and audio/video cable for 90 seconds. Then plug power in first, then AV cable.

My wii fit board's power LED flashs for seconds then goes off and it keep asking me to switch it on before stepping on

The wii fit board acts the same way as the wii controller. You have to sync the wii fit board to the console.

Wont play disks

If Wii gives Disc Read Error, first step you need to check is to try another disc or clean the exisitng disc. This will confirm that problem is with either Wii or Disc. If the console itself is giving disc read error then it needs to be repaired. You may check out DIY Wii Fix Guide, that will show step by step information to fix the problem yourself. Wii game freezing at same location. urgent!

It could be the nintendo wii itself, try and find a gaming repair shop and see what they say, if it is the wii they will repair it for free or might cost a bit, chances are it might just need cleaning on the inside (dust) hope it gets sorted out
