You can reformat your mp3 player by plugging it to your computer. Connect it using the USB connection provided by your player. There is a slide switch on the top of it that locks the controls. If this is in the locked position then the devices shutsdown again!

Also, the 6675 does the same thing if the battery is flat .... appears to start and straight off again!

Have you tried resetting the player by turning on the player and then pressing the 'Off' key for at least 10 seconds? Richard
