No sound for earphone, there are no rca jacks, the earphone is used to attach speakers, but there is no sound from the earphone jack

if their is a sound from the internal speaker then the problem is with in only in the earphone jack or in the connection. to access the internal part of the tv you need to remove the rear cover. locate the earphone jack terminal re soldered and check the connection at the board ( PCB). you can check also the continuity, attached powered pc speaker then use an analog tester and check weather their is a connection coming from the stereo input jack going to the terminal of the earphone jack of the tv. if no connection replace with new earphone jack. good luck hope this can helped.

Hi. Greetings. I have one of this set. One day while i'm playing songs on it, my siblings accidentally plugged another wire into the earphone port. When i unplugged it, there isn't anymore sound...

Put a plug in the earphone port and wiggle it . Could be the little gadget inside is stuck. I had a tv that did that and ended up disconnecting the ear plug port.

No SOUND

If it has an earphone jack try to hook up your headset just to get hint if your problem is in the sound output ic. Listen carefully to your headset if there is a sound or none. If you hear a sound then you the trouble is in between the earphone jack or to your speaker. Just test the speaker and you will isolate the problem. How to test the speaker if good, simple got a battery (either AAA,AA,C,D size) then tap the speaker across the battery when you hear a crackling sound then it is good. If you confirm that the speaker is good then the faulty parts is your earphone jack, replacing it will cure the problem. If you don't hear a sound then through your earphone then the trouble is in the output I.C. or some parts around it and you need a technician to isolate the problem.

If you don't have an earphone jack then I've advice you to look for a qualified technician to look for a defective parts on the sound section.

Hi the wire has frayed and is exposed at the entry point into the earphones to My 5 Series Shure earphones. One earphone no longer works. Can this be rectified? Regards, Robert....

hi,you can fix it by opening the ear that is not working and check if the wire inside the earphone has not removed. If it has removed, you can use a soldering iron and a lead to fix it back.
But if the wire inside has not removed, that means the speaker inside is damaged and will need to be replaced.

In replacing the damaged speaker, you will need to go to any nearby repair store for replacement parts .

If you can not get a replacement speaker, you will have to get a new one.

And for the exposed wire, you can use a gum or a glue to cover it up...

Hope it helps..

I have no sound on my HP Pavillion laptop

I had the same problem, but now its solved!

Brieftly speaking, my internal speaker stopped producing sound, but when I plug earphones in, there is sound in the earphones.

Just plug in-and-out ur earphones several times (it took me 5 tries) and voila internal speakers work again!

I think there is a mechanical sensor inside the sound output (plug for the earphone) so that once it senses a plug getting in, it shuts internal speaker.

Maybe the mechanical sensor was jammed (spring problem i guess) and it still believe that u have ur earphones plugged-in. "Clogging" the hole for the earphones would allow the spring to spring back to initial position...

Hope it helps

Logitech Speaker Help

Unfortunately, Logitech doesn't sell the wired remote controller separately. And that seems to be infamous for going out.
What worked for me (with no sound and no blue light on the remote connector) was to plug a set of earphones into the earphone port. As soon as I did that, the blue light came on and the sound was restored, even after removing the earphones. Someone else said both speakers worked properly while they had the earphones in, but not otherwise.

-mate JAM Pocket PC Problem

Try putting in earphones and check. Sometimes the contact inside the earphone jack jams against each other and then the phone thinks there are earphones plugged in thus bypassing the speaker.
