My ps3 wont play games or dvds

Playing online last night game froze so i turned the system off i have tried to to load games and dvds today but theystem is not responding to them,any clues on how to solve this problem would be appreciated.

This can be caused by a dirty laser in the drive. Try cleaning the laser with a q-tip and alcohol. If this does not fix the problem, the laser may need to be replaced. Contact Sony and see if the unit is still under warranty.

sounds like it could be a dirty lens buy a lens cleaner disk (bout 10 bucks) this should fix your problem

WONT LOAD ANY GAMES
try playing a blu-ray movie if it wouldn't play blu-ray movies or PS 3 games you laser is bad. I you need help changing it I can email you detailed instructions.

Game wont load
ts a problem with the latest download update. sorry to say but its a job for sony as long as its still under warranty. just phone them up explain the probs your having and they will send you a new (normally reconditioned) unit out. sony's replacement service is very good.
