Test for s200 scanner says ud dll not found
When i try to test the s200 compaq scanner on my system (windows vista os ) it gives a msg UD DLL not found.
Hi, As I'm sure you have already heard, Vista has been replaced by Windows 7 due to many software incompatability issues. My best advice would be to get rid of Vista and either downgrade to Windows Xp or upgrade to Windows 7 as these two are far more stable and compatible with most software applications. Best wishes, Graemevm
*be sure all your "Windows Updates" are up to date.
Once installed I had to go to the default directory C:\VistaScan to find the .exe file. The software booted right up! But, it said the device was not on. I simply pulled the USB out and put it back in and it worked perfectly.
I imagine you might have to start up vista scan and pull the USB cord in and out every time you reboot your machine, which is kinda a cheap work around. However, it is a way to "give it to the man"!! and I like that idea ;)
