The printer settings have not been changed (it is set on "Normal" print), but the printer is suddenly printing very very slowly. The final product is ok, but it takes forever to print a page. Any easy solution?

Another thought, if you have access to the photo on your computer, open it up and see if you can reduce the dpi level to a small file
go to the print page, check to see what the print format is: highest quality, best, normal, normal fast or fast print. this might be the solution too.

Why is my plotter suddenly printing slowly?

Sounds like it's been switched from "draft" to "quality" mode. There should be a menu option on the plotter to allow you to change that. You should be able to override that setting in your software, too.

Why did my printing rate suddenly slow down to about 20 Why did my printing rate suddenly drop to about 20 % of normal

Check the print quality settings in the Printer Control Panel. If set to best and color it will slow printing considerably and use ink much quicker. Draft and B&W printing is usually fastest and sips ink compared to other modes.

Hp deskjet printing very slowly all of a sudden

I am not familiar with this particular printer but here is what I would recommend.

Remove the printer from Windows,
reboot your computer, (a reboot must be done before reinstalling the printer driver)
Reinstall the printer in Windows.

The printer driver may have gotten corrupted. This is not uncommon.

There is also a chance that the power supply has gone bad. Most of these printers have the power supply as part of the cable, unlike a computer which has the power supply inside the computer. If you have another one of these model printers available, try swapping out the power cable.

HP P3015 suddenly printing very slowly - about a page a minute

If you unplug the cable from the printer to the PC and print the MENU MAP, does it print slow or at normal speed?
If it prints slow, try following the directions below.
If it prints at normal speed, try removing the printer from the print queue and reinstalling it. Also, download the PCL5 drivers and reinstall it.
Good Luck.

Print a MENU MAP and a CONFIG page.
You will need this info to put the settings back in the printer.
1. Turn the device off.
2. Turn the device on. When the memory count begins, press and hold the CHECK MARK button. Continue holding
down this button until all three device control-panel lights flash once and then remain on. This
might take up to 10 seconds.
3. After the message SELECT LANGUAGE appears on the display, press the ^ button
until COLD RESET is highlighted.
4. Press CHECK MARK . The device performs a cold reset and then continues its power-on sequence.
5. Check all I/O settings and reset any customer-set device configuration values.

COLD RESET sets ALL control panel menu items, including network settings back to factory defaults.
This is where the MENU MAP and CONFIG info come into play.

The printer prints very slowly all of a sudden. It took over an hour to print out 4 pages. I've unplugged everything. I've cleared the print ques. Same thing is happening when I copy. Help!

If the output quality has improved greatly, you may have selected the "High" quality instead of "Normal". The front panel should give you a clue as to how to adjust.

Print quality

Paper type must be set to "Plain" to select Normal or Fast for Print Quality. Every other paper type selected will automatically set print quality to Fine (Photo).
