I can't update my AVG antivirus from the FREE AVG.com site, it says page can't be found....

Might be due to some server error in AVG. Check for AVG official site on the google and then go for the updates. AVG is a good antivirus as well as anti-spyware software.

If you are running any of the 8. versions of AVG it will not be able to update because AVG is now 9.0.814 and it is much improved, it changed last December and if you did not do the critical update back then you will need to download and install the new version. Here is where you can download it.

If you also need a good malware remover ( AVG does not remove malware, and Malwarebytes does not remove spy-ware or viruses) I would suggest that you try Malwarebytes, it is also free and it works very well. After you download and install it check for updates (by selecting the updates tab you will be able to check for new updates) and then run a Full Scan (by selecting the scanner tab you will be able to select a scan to run), it will get rid of any malware that you have.

You should run Malwarebytes every time that you close your web browser and are through using the internet. You should first check for any update, then run a quick scan, if that finds any Malware then you should then run a full scan to make sure that it is removed from all of your computer.

Hey re download the AVG anti virus from the site it is working.

before that uninstall the previous and re-start the system and install the new one and update.
