Blank Pages; Blank Print Out
Solution
Symptom
When printing from the S or Pro Series printers, you may encounter blank pages being printed.
Solution
To rectify this issue, please follow the troubleshooting steps below:

While on the main screen of the printer, open the cover.
- If the printhead stays to the left, go to Step 2.
- If the printhead comes to the center, do not continue troubleshooting because the printhead is faulty.

Place the printer into "Replace Printhead" mode using the Maintenance menu. To access this mode, follow the steps below:
- Touch Screen Printers:
• Tap on the Ink Levels icon.
• Tap on More Options.
• Select Replace Printhead.
- LCD Screen Printers:
• Press the Setup button and use the arrow buttons.
• Select Maintenance.
• Select Replace Printhead.

Open the covers and look into the printer on the left-hand side where the cartridges are inserted into the printhead - aWICKING PAD is located there.
- If this PAD is BLACK (as seen in the right-hand image; click it for larger view), then the printer has successfully gotten ink into and through the printhead.
- If the PAD is WHITE, then the printer has not been able to make the ink flow through the printhead. Go to Step4.

Seat the printhead again. Unpower the printer and connect it again. Open the cover and reseat all four tanks. Press firmly on the rear of each tank and make sure all four snap in tight.

Insert plain paper and run Deep Clean.
- Touch Screen Printers:
• Tap on the Ink Levels icon.
• Tap on More Options.
• Select Deep Clean Printhead.
- LCD Screen Printers:
• Press the Setup button.
• Select Maintenance.
• Select Deep Clean Printhead.
If you cannot get all four inks to lay clean, identify which one, if any of them, is failing.
- If there is just some ink on the page - run the Deep Clean again.
- If there is no ink at all, then the printhead is faulty.
