My TLP 2742 skips every other label

Skipping every other label is a software template or size format issue. This means your label size in the computer is not set up to match the label size your printing or you have too much text on your label causing it to print out of the bottom margin causing it to skip to the next label.. Very common issue.

We have labels that may help alleviate your problem as well

The printer prints one label and skips another one

First, I need to admit it. This is the worst printer I have ever used. I had all kond of troubles with it.
The skipping labels problem was my misery for 2 days to. I had to find out that my labels were falling out of the printing area generating a new page (label). Go back fix your width. Make sure your label fits one page (label). Print again. That's what I did. Good luck.

Dmx i4308 skipping every other label

emelish: If is constant the print label and skip label, you have adjust the label size in your software. If the label skip is not constant, then clean the label sensor, position it in better place and perform a quick calibration pressing and hold FEED button by 5-6 seconds and release it. Maybe you can do it once more time. Roberto Martinez

He are the steps you need to calibrate your printer

Label Length Calibration
Note: This is typically the only procedure required when first installing the labels.
1. Load the printer with media and ribbon.
2. Press the printer front panel MODE key until the CALIBRATE LED is lit.
3. Press the FEED key and allow the labels to feed.
4. When the labels have stopped press the MODE key once to save the value in memory.

Datamax I-4208 not printing allocated amount of labels

Eventually you HAVE to give the printer a break, during inventory times at work, we have to print 50K+ labels, and in order to prevent either serial number skipping or other issues, I print in 250 batches, yes; there is a time gap but it's better than to restart a series of prints because a few numbers were skipped. Try printing 200 and 200 sets to prevent errors or skips.

Mis align printout

hi, its hard to say but.... does it feed ok or skip labels??? if it skips labels, the sensor will need replacement or adjustment, also download the latest drivers, and if your driver or software gives u the option, play around with the magnification settings, also double check length, borders etc, try making the label length setting appear longer , shorter etc. Hope this is of help to you,M,
