My V220 wireless mouse has just stopped working after I changed battery. It just will not connect. Only had it about 3 months

Two probably blunt/stupid answers, but you'll never know:
* is the new battery really full?
* is the new battery properly seated (mind polarity...)

My logitech V220 optical mouse won't work, I changed the batteries.

Hi three, uninstall the Logitech V220 Cordless optical mouse driver from the laptop and then restart the laptop again. Now install that Logitech V220 Cordless optical mouse driver again . I am sure its will start working. If not then make sure your batter Is properly fixed inside in the mouse & that's fully charged. After those thing if still not working then visit service center, because the mouse censer stop working and its damaged.
Thanks & waiting for your feedback.

My mouse logitech V220 just keeps darting all over the place when typing

Resync the Mouse... there maybe a button on the bottom of the mouse to resync with the wireless adapter. Or simply switch USB ports and it will reinstall and that should correct it :)

My mouse has a new battery and is recognized by my computer but it doesnt seem to be working on the screen, the cursor doesn't appear on the screen

try holding down the reset button on the mouse for 5 seconds. The mouse may just need to initialize with the wireless dongle

Can I use a V220 ona Desktop computer

It will work fine on your desktop.
It is only sold as a mouse for laptops as it is compact, but it is a standard wireless mouse with a USB RF Receiver. Plug it in and it should install and run fine.
If you have problems where it isn't 100% responsive try attaching the RF Receiver to a usb extension cable so you can place it next to your mouse pad. The closer it is the better the reception.

How do I install cordless mouse

if it comes with a disk, insert the disk and follow the on screen instructions, if there is no disk then plug in the USB receiver and make sure the mouse has batteries and is powered on and the computer should detect it and install the drivers.

Logitech V220 Receiver not seen by Vista, but is seen by XP

I left the computer powered off for about an hour and when I rebooted (which I had done in previous attempts to solve the problem) the problem seems to have corrected itself. I plugged the receiver back into the same USB port and it was immediately recognized.
However, I remain skeptical that the problem is permanently solved based on the variety of issues listed with the V220 mouse and receiver.

Logitech V220 cordless mouse won't work

The V220 is a quite nice rodent, my favorite. Check 3 things.

1) Is the battery facing the right way? Minus end goes in first. Green LED should turn on for a few seconds after the battery is installed.

2) Is the mouse ON? The switch under the mouse is supposed to turn on automatically when the receiver is removed. This does not always work.

3) Unplug the USB Receiver. Connect it to a different USB port. Run the Logitech Connect utility.

If the mouse still does not work, uninstall the Setpoint software and reboot. It is possible that the driver did not install correctly. After reboot, try Step 3 again.

Setpoint software is only needed if you want to use the wheel click or horizonal scroll features.

If all else fails, try installing your V220 on a different computer.
