Hi,

If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.

if you dryer is gas check out this gas no heat tip....

If you have an electric dryer, you can have many different things that can go wrong causing the dryer not to heat.

LG DLEX7177RM Not drying clothes

Either of these:
1. Air flow is blocked
2. Heating element is not working totally or not at all.
Check airflow for strong flow. If not. Unblock
check airflow for heating. If hot then heating element is working. If not hot, check heating element issue,ie, reset hi temp thermistor, check other thermistors, check heating element for continuity.
Report back what you find.

Where is the reset button on an lg dryer dle2532w my dryer wont heat and was reading online it may need reset.

You need to unplug the unit and push the tabs between the front panel and the lid .This will allow the lid to come up and you can unscrew the front panel. There are 2 screws on the top of the front panel and 2 screws on the front behind the door when you open it. This will allow the front to come off. Now you can get access to the heater. There are 2 thermostats on the heater assembly. Check these for continuity with a meter. You need to check and see if the heater has continuity. The heater or one of the thermostats will be bad.

LG Dryer low heat doesn't work

It may be as simple as checking your lint filter.
If you use fabric softeners sheets, they tend to clog the lint filter holes. Washing it with soap and water will restore it back to normal and will allow the circulation that the dryer needs to properly dry your clothes.
