Casio ex-s770 good battery put in dock to charge red light flashes wont turn on to take pictures

hi, once you charge your battery and the red light blink it means your NP-20 battery is damage and you need to buy new one.TIP- charge 1.5 hours only and if youre not using you camera for a long time its better to remove the battery.

Clean your connecting areas with alcohol . If that dont work . It could be a bad battery

make sure that you didn't put the battery in backwards. It can be done and obviously, it won't charge

It's a problem with the battery. It already reached it's life cycle. I had the same problem with my 15 month old casio camera a year ago - flashing red light on docking station. I even tried borrowing a docking station/charger to see if something else is wrong with it.

The only solution for this is to have the battery replace.

The chances are pretty good that the battery is bad. Buy a new battery - they are inexpensive.

have you try changing the battery pack...?

lol, i had mine for a year also and had the same thing happen to me. My camera wouldn't charge or even turn on for that matter. I was stumbled. After a week of thinking about it I realised I had put the Battery in the wrong way. I dont even remember taking my battery out ever, but I have a Sandisk SD Card Plus w/ USB and when I took it I I think I accidentally popped the battery out too. Then I must have put it back in the wrong way. Make sure the (+) and (-) is on the correct sides. Hope this helps. If not, sorry
