Samsung TV Remote Control Logo

My remote for the samsung htc550 home theater system does not switch back to the set top after I have switched it to my tv. I no longer have a working remote for it and do not know how to switch it back. Hitting the source button does not do anything.

Press the BD Receiver / TV button twice in quick succession. The light should now be orange which indicates it will operate the Home Cinema system....Pressing it twice again in quick succession will turn the light green indicating it will operate the TV.....Unfortunately the useless operator manual with the system does not tell you this....

I have direct tv and only 3 out of the 6 speakers work. the Front 2 and the subwoofer only work. How can i get all 3 to work with my TV

DirecTV broadcasts in stereo, which uses the front 2 and the subwoofer. There should be a program option to switch to either 7 channel or 5 channel stereo. Select that.

Is there any way i can put the PS3 and the Hitachi tv throught the cinema system at the same time?

Possibly. I believe the HTC550 only has one audio input so you'll have to work around this. Check and see if you Hitachi TV has a headphone jack. If it does, patch the PS3 audio through the TV. Connect the TV to the HTC550 through the headphone jack using a 3.5mm to RCA cable pictured in the link.

No sound from speakers when tuned to t.v.no problem when tuned to DVD

Are you using HDMI (newer / latest style) cable from your TV set?
HDMI cable will pass HD video and audio signal to your HTC550.

If you are using an older TV then you will need to provide your own RCA cable.
Yellow = video Red = right audio White = left audio
to the HTC550 unit.

4. Audio
5. ASC
6. Turn OFF the Auto Sound Calibration

Samsung LED UE46B7020 tv wont play sound through my HT-C5500

i know this is going to sound stupid but i couldn't get mine to work either after following every instruction to the T. I then rechecked my optical digital connections again and found that I neglected to remove one on the rubber protective endings. I took it off and plugged the end back into my TV and BINGO! THEATER SOUND from my tv!
