You need to use a Pandora's battery to unbrick the psp, if you need to do it yourself just email me:- [email protected] and i will help you

  • Anonymous Mar 30, 2008

A Pandora's Battery is a "service battery" so if you broke your
psp eg. bricked it if you took it into someone to fix it they would use a
pandora's battery. There used to install custom firmware, unbrick, downgrade and
a few other things. To make one you need someone with custom firmware on their
PSP or someone running 1.50 firmware and the software to make it (Pandora's
Battery Maker 0.5) or something similar. If you want to make one then I can walk
it through for you or if you live in NZ you can mail it to me and I will do it
for you. Hope I helped ^_^

Black screen

Sounds like your PSP is bricked. What this means is that the systemsoftware is corrupted, therefore the PSP is as good as a brick but fear not!

The following website can un-brick the system (reload the system software) onto the PSP for $29!

PSP powers up, black screen, no sound

It could be, although if it hasn't been modified in anyway it could be the battery. If your son has used this battery so many times, say a couple months or years, the motherboard or chip could malfunction, causing shortage of power. Try getting a replaceable battery, or if you know another friend or guy that has a son/daughter with an extra battery try using it to save money. If it's not the battery, could be the firmware, or version. Hope these solutions help, let me know if they do or don't.
Good Luck!

PSP black screen

IF PSP is being disturbed or power went off by any means while upgrading system software. It is sure that your PSP is bricked and now you had the only option to get repaired by a technician and it is done with the help of Pandora's Jigkick Battery. If you required any more info please write.

PSP Won't turn on

Try this>

Start with the PSP turned off. Press and hold the R button when your turning on the power. Turn it off again, then back on. Sometimes this works. If not, your PSP is probably Bricked.
This means that you done something to interupt an upload or program in progress. The eeprom program is corrupted and the PSP will not boot up. The term Bricked, refers to your PSP being no better than a black Brick paper weight. I have heard of a repair for this called Pandoras Battery. I am not sure if the Pandoras battery really works to restore Bricked PSP's. It may be worth a try for you to take a chance on Pandoras Battery.

Psp black screen

Hi Azeem123,

Your PSP is Bricked.  You need to send it to Sony to get your problem resolved. The contact information is listed below.

I know this is terrible news for you.  When you were downloading the Flash0, something disturbed the download and corrupted the PSP. This is what Bricked you PSP.  Brick refers to your psp and it is dead until Sony fixes it, no more worth than a brick.
