Very weird My phone will not allow me to make calls. I have a razr v3i. The interesting thing is I bought this phone off ebay unlocked and it worked fine for ~ 4 months. Then when Cingular switched over to AT&T it stopped working. So I tried getting a new SIM and it worked sorta for a day or two and then psstht. So AT&T messed with it to no avail and finally decided it was the phone. I paid some unlock cell place to flash/flex it whatever to see if I could maybe then lock it to AT&T but no joy. I''m a noob at this techie stuff and I can't seem to figure this one out. Any words of wisdom?

Well it is best to buy a new phone if after reflashing the firmware and nothing has changed then buy a new phone.

Ive been given a motorola v3i , no instructions for use, just bought unlock code but have no idea how to change numbers to letters to enter code , HELP
For 1 thing dont buy locked phones. there are reasons its locked. if phone is stolen the number of the phone is recorded with service cant be activated.befor buying a phone, call service provider to make sure id of phone is clean and no old bills on it. dont try to go to another service they are service spacfic. good luck

Invalid battery
Pull out the battery *while the phone is on*. Wait 15 secs then put battery back in and turn phone on. That should fix it.

hey!!!!! istead of installin themes its a better option to install skins!!!! you can find skins for the v3i in most of the websites!!! To install these skins you need a software called skiman which can be downloaded from motomodders .net.... also remember to download the p2k drivers b4 installin them!!!!

under tools there is a record option. erase all things that have been recorded. the button on the top screen on the right hand side allows you to record phone calls. You have probably been hitting it on accident and recording calls and such. Let me know if this works.
