1. try connecting to the network with an Ether net cord. If you can connect with the cable to the router then you may have a adapter driver issue.
2. Try typing at the command line at the DOS prompt "ipconfig /all " to see what the network is doing.
if you see connect then it is the firewall settings.
3. check with you ISP and see if you have an issue with the WAN. There may be a DNS issue.

You might need to sync the remot to the wii:
  • In the back of the remote by the battery there is a red button
  • On the Wii console there is a small door, open it and you'll find a red button
  • press both button at the same time.
  • Then press the home icon on the remote and you should see a p1through p4 icon
  • click on the icon bar and press the reconnect tab.

Have a blue box in lower right hand corner of screen

i bet thats the lan icon if you have it blue and blinking its means good internet connection and your connected if that box has a red "X" on it its nit connected. theres nothing to worry.

How to make a wi-fi connection to my sylvania net book?? when i reformat my PC the wifi connection setup is lost..plz help me

first you have to be in a wire less hot spot starbucks library etc then you click the wifi icon on desktop then click it to power off (trust me i own one)you will see a wifi icon appear in task bar if it has no red bars next to the icon your on if it does double click the wireless icon in task bar and click wireless connections and click on the ones that are available to you if they ask for a network password you will need it ask who you are trying to connect to (also go to digi gadgets.com they have a free download update for the wireless system good luck

I have inspiron 5100 (dell) with j0846 wireless card...how do I get it to work with wi-fi?

To the botom right beside the date and time there is a icon which looks like a monitor (it should have a red x throught it) Right click on the icon choose view wireless network(xp) connect to a network(vista)wireless network there in this window you will seet he available network choose your network and select connect,if you have a wep (wireless key) installed, it will prompt for the key.

Limited or no connectivity

check device manager for conflicts if there are completly unistall all conflicts. Reinstall software for the netgear if available .

Red Flashing Icon

The icons from the left: 1. Power indocator 2. Hard Disk indicator --> it is a tube icon, not battery, but means hard drive. 3. Power Source indicator 4. Bluetooth indicator
The third from left means the power source indicator. Normally it is light green. If there is battery problem (can not charge or battery overload) it flashes amber/orange. If flashes red, it indicates that the battery power is low. You need to change the battery or connect the AC adapter.
