DNS error 80410414 means the web address was typed in wrong eg: i tryed
every thing when this mesg came up, then when i nearly gave up i typed
www.facebook.co.uk and it changes the address to
http://en-gb.facebook.com/
the psp cant do this so it just gives an error mesg
i then typed in the address on my psp the exact address; http://en-gb.facebook.com/ AND IT WORKS :) WOWO :)
if it is saying DNS error it is not a problem with the PSP, most likely a setting with your wireless router. or a problem with teh internet at the time of trying. check wireless settings on the PSP and make sure it has a number listed for DNS server.
You are most likely not close enough to the connection to receive a signal or you might have to change the security settings to allow your system to connect to the server
I've had the same problem, cant connect my psp at school, most likely in your case its the same reason as mine, The schools I.P. address is locked and you need a password to access it.
Error code : (80410418) - The PSP is unable to obtain IP address. + Check your router's firewall if its blocking the PSP. + Turn off the proxy in the PSP.
Check those and tell me whether still the problem exists
Try rebooting your router, there should be a button on the back...hold it down for 3 seconds the wait 5 seconds then turn i back on. Wait a couple of seconds before trying to connect again. If this doesn't work you might want to check what type of router you have and see if it allows other portable devices cuz some don't.
