Don't know which power boards are dead. There are two one primary, and a second dairy.Don't know which must take tv aparts first to examine.

  • Chi Chu Apr 28, 2010

Most likely they take out the two power boards, examine and change parts. If the problems,it difficult to find. They probally order a refurbish power board for the replacement from many sources from the web.

Fujitsu airon ASTA24LCC 2 flashes green and red then 5 red flashes any idea what it means

Had similar problem (ie. 2 green & red flashed followed by 5 red flashes - Fan blowing but not cooling ... I also noted that the outside unit fan wasn't going). Tried restarting several time after waiting only a minute or two after turning the mains power off but with no change. So turned the unit off at the mains power and then fired it up about 2hrs later and it was all working fine.

Sharp lc-32sb220u lcd tv. Green Power LED flashes steady

Okay, I found the problem. There is a problem with the
ccfl (lamp) groung PCB. Mine is completely burnt through. I am going to attempt to repair it, but will likely need to extract it from a different unit. This board is on the front right of the lx in the lamp housing behind the
lcd panel. What is happening: The inverter circuit on the power supply is detecting that one of the lamps is not lighting and it goes into shut down.

Hope this helps!

Mine has the same problem, orange LED with humming sound coming from the speakers etc.

Someone brought one to me to look at..same problem. Checked power supply (easy to check, take off bottom cover and measure voltages on connector. standard 5, 3.3, and 12v outputs going to maine board.) Power supply was fine. took out main board and noticed several 100uf,16v caps that seemed to be bloated. replaced them and the unit turns on. Only thing i'm not sure about is the time it takes to initially turn on. when you first turn on main switch in back, the front led flashes green for about a minute then the LCD comes on and says "loading" which takes about 2-3 minutes, then the unit goes into standby mode (red Led) the unit will turn right on and off again quickly as long as the main switch in the back is not turned off and on again. Is it normal for it to intially take so long to boot? I do not know the normal operation as this is the first i attempted to repair.

TV does not turn on/red led flashes 7 times in front

this is common issue with this model and through your troubleshooting is tied to y main board. blinking led on logic main in normal operation. when replacing y main always good idea to replace y upper and lowe buffer boards as they complete a circuit and sometimes replacing one without other could cause additional failure on remaining boards

LG LCD TV Standby Light Flashing Red Continuously

I have had this same problem twice in the past 3 months. So far both times I've been able to get it back after a week or two. I'm not sure what works, but unplugging and detaching the antenna and cable and waiting a few days seems to be the key. In both instances, I unplugged it for a few days then plugged it in for a few days and repeated the processes until I eventually got the steady red led. Both times prior to the red led the led would flash red then green and make a clickiing noise for several hours before I was able to get it working again.
