Replace ALL carts with new ones.

press menu then start bk-copy then fourtimes arrow up quickly one after another. machine turns to maintenance mode.
press 7 then 6 then 4 then start bk-copy.
machine will initiate the carts and refresh ink in tubes and ph and do some special power cleaning.

when finished press 7 then 6 then 3 then start bk copy.
machine will do a power cleaning.

when finished press 9 then 9 to leave maintenance mode.

run a test print.

If you cant see any yellow and/or magenta the ph is defective and needs replacing (this happens mostly because of generic ink which contains the wrong chemical mixture to keep the ph alive).

I just bought a li po battery but i have to change the charging plug and my old battery has diffrent colored wires one has blk/yel/blu/red the other has blk/wht/blu/orange

Some company's switch the yel and wht or the red and orange wires so they know it is there product. Just wire it the same as you have now. yel is the wht and red is the orange or reverse.

RX680 shows ink is full but will not print lt mag, mag, or cyan

usually the problem occurs when the ink is running low and a big print job is being done. by then, the printer runs out of ink and starts sucking air into the tubes. If several cleanings dont help, try leaving it off for a couple days, turn it back on, try another cleaning and see what happens. if it still does not work, most likely the printhead will need to be cleaned which will cost about $40 - $65 if cartridges are need too.

If you are you using generic ink, that can cause the problem too.

Brother mfc MFC-5440CN magenta issues

If you have used generic ink the head is clogged and cant be cleaned anymore.

Last chance is to use original brother ink which has cleaning fluids within the ink. Run the cleaning procedure twice and simply print 10 PAGES afterwards. Wait A DAY AND TRY TO PRINT IN MAG AGAIN:

If there will be no mag. the ph is definitley clogged and needs replacement.
