Have an Olympus Digital Camera FE-280 and had and put the Olympus Master 2 disk into my computer. Was running fine until I tried to install an upgrade that Olympus sent me. Now I am getting an error message from the Microsoft Visual C Runtime Library that says the following "Runtime error! Program C...Application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the appli8cations support team for more information." I think it may be having a problem with the Family Tree Maker software I am running. I also am running on Windows Vista Home Premium. I can not seem to delete the Master 2 program to reinstall from the disk. Any suggestions about what I can do now?

Before anything else, DO system restore to bring you back to a date where you didnot install Master2.

another way is:
you can try to delete it manually on your registry.
go to registry and control+f to find all "Master 2"

before you do this, play safe! create a registry backup.
better yet, create a restore point!

Go to your Device Manager - find the Unknown Device - Properties - Drivers Tab - search your computer for a driver...imput:

C:\windows\system32\Drivers store

Thie should allow to install this driver from the driver store and then plug in the camera and you're good to go. I'm not a total techy, but this is most definately a Microsoft Issue. If you need help, call them at 1-866-234-6020 .

DISK CLENUP , DEFRAGMENT YOUR HARD DRIVE.
ALSO REPAIR YOUR MASTER SOFTWARE.
REMOVE THE UNNECESSARY SOFT WARE FROM ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS.
LIKE .NET FRAME WORK AND ANY UNUSE AND UNKNOWN PROGRAM REMOVE IT
