Ok. so im trying to get my WEP key for my PS3 so i can have the inthernet....but i have no idea where or how i can find my WEP key. Please help

Either get into the router configuration to get the WEP key, or hack the wep key using aircrack from this guide http://www.askstudent.com/hacking/how-to-crack-a-wep-key-using-ubuntu/ just make sure you have a compatible adapter like a ALFA awusb36H or something with pack injection or you'll just be banging your head against a wall.

WEp key is a password to connect your modem , you need to go into modem settings to find that out , most modems settings can be reached from http://192.168.0.1 , all you need to do is wirte this address to the your internet explorer and go into setting of the modem look for wireless settings , if you need more help let us know

Your WEP key is set by a user of the household you would have to go in to your personal router page where you can change ports etc. and reset it to whatever you want.

The WEP code you're requesting is not for the ps3, it's for the wireless network you're connecting to, just ask whoever set the network up what it is.

WEP key is actually the network security key for ur wireless network,,if u have any computer which is online through the router u can find out the wep key.double click on the wireless icon on the online computer and u will find a box with 2 tabs,,click on the support tab at the top and u will find an option called default gateway,,preferably 192.168.1.254{preferably like this},,put this ip address in the address bar at the top and hit enter,,a box will come up with username and passwrd,,u hav to ask ur internet service provider for tat information and then after u get into the 2wire page u will find a option called wireless security,there u will find ur wep key,,or else if u look at the bottom panel of the 2wire u night find a 10 digit number which is the default wep key for 2wire netwrk,,best of luck, keep me posted

ok playstations arn't the best for connecting to the internet but they can connect none the less. first get your router closer to your ps3 to make the connection strength better or purchase a signal booster. get you connection evaluated and see if your ps3 is working properley by disconecting it from the mains for about an hour and then reconecting it to the mains. it might connect then but try a signal booster, it might help but it's probably your internet. - good luck

SSID is the name of the internet connection (ex. randomD9), WEP Key is the password if any for the connection (ex. 123456). Just to tell you, Mobile internet isn't supported by the PS3 so you would have no luck with this. Maybe in the future when the firmware updates but for now the best thing to do is to get a wired connectio or a wireless.

Hiya, when you go to your router homepage, normally an address like 192.168.2.1 for most belkins, there will be a security tab, if you look at the wep settings it should give you what the wep key is, if not you can generate a new one and put it into your pc's and ps3,
Your password however if not changed from original will be blank just hit the submit button,
Also there should be a reset button in the casing of the router, this will reset it to factory where password will be blank so hit the submit button, hope this helps

1. turn on the ps3
2. go to the system option
3. check if your ps3 is connected to a wireless connection
4. If so log in using your account if it doesn't work
5. I recommend sign up for a new account and try that.
