My Sharp XR-10X-L Notevision LCD Projector will not unlock; it says ''keylock function on.'' How do I un-lock it when none of the buttons – menu, etc. -- will work? The lamp will come on, but it will not allow any of the buttons to work, such as enter, input, arrows; power on or off; I have only been able to plug and un-plug the power cord to turn the lamp on or off.
According to pg. 45 in the owner's manual, you turn Keylock function ON by holding down the ENTER key on the projector for about 5 seconds while the projector is being turned on.
To take the Keylock off-- Hold down the ENTER key on the projector for about 5 seconds. If the projector is in standby mode, you can release the keylock by holding down ENTER and STANDBY/ON keys simultaneously for about 5 seconds.

Lamps are easily replaced by the user. Get a new one and pull out your instruction book to replace. Make sure you clean your air filter regularly to give longer lamp life. There is no way for you to "fix" the lamp module without replacement.

Carefully try using a flat head screw driver on the middle plastic piece. make sure it is off...
Or try coming at it from the other side after taking the top of the machine off you can unscrew 3 screws and loosen whatever might be blocking it
