Says my momory is half full but nothing is there?

My 30g ipod is messed up, it says I have (so much room) tooken up in space, and i Had songs on it, and it wont show nor play them, like It says half my memory is full, but none of my songs show up anymore, i need help! :(

Ipod problems with Pioneer AVIC-D3

Do you have an ipod module or are you using ibus-to-rca cable to connect your ipod to the D3? In order to control full ipod functions by touch screen you need the ipod module, hence the D3 says ipod control ready not ipod control built in. Let me know so I can pin point the problem.

A restore should fix the problem first make sure you have the songs copyed to your pc. becouse restore deletes all the files from the ipod

and they give u like 1000 song space for your ipod and your old songs but you have to delete your songs so it can work
