I am failing to install a hp 1010 laserjet printer to windows 7 ... i have an installation disk but it keeps on giving an error message

Windows 7 support is part of the operating system. The other day, I did an HP-2510 printer on W7 and it was automatic. Download the driver for windows 7, usually 64 bit.
Try to download and install driver from this site then try to connect your printer :

if its failed try this one :

Driver for Win Vista 64 bit

try going to the hp web site and downloading the correct driver for the printer
when finished , right click on the printer , click on the compatibility tab and tick box , highlight win 7, apply and ok
