I purchased a samsung side by side refrigerator, crack inside

I purchased a samsung side by side refrigerator, after a while I heard a big sound and noted a big crack all over the body inside. i went to samsung service center, they said this is factory fault but we get 60% to change it for you. this is not fair. samsung should change this for me at no cost. this is their fault and they should be responsible. but they don;t. what shall I do?

Take it up with the Samsung head office or get a lawyer involved
company admitted faults are covered by warranty regardless of the period and you do not pay for anything

Problem: Forming on inside glass shelves: tiny beige sand-grain-like flakes. Why??

dear Cristina the color and the small flakes sounds like the insulation they use for the refrigerators ...perhaps somwhere on the door or sides of the refrigerator there is a crack or hole and the insulation just situates on the shelves inside other than that i never heard of anything like this. I hope this helps out

I need to register my new Samsung Refrigerator side by side, where do I go to do this.Model # RS263TD

A good place to start would be at the manufacturers web site. It should tell you on the warranty card that you received when you purchased your new refrigerator where that site is - there should also be a 800 toll free number on the card as well as ... mailing the card to the manufacturer. Here is the site: http://www.samsung.com/us/appliances/refrigerators/

This refrigerator is sold in the US at many fine retail outlets, appliance stores and at the big box store as well. Didn't they give you any of this information?

Thank you for your question @ FixYa.com

Samsung double door refrigerator/freezer is not holding the tempature in the refrigerator. When you attempt to reset the temperature and press "power cool" nothing... temp remains around 56 The freezer...

I just had (have?) this same problem. I called out the repair man and in the end he suggested that I buy a new fridge because of all the problems reported with my model (RS2555SL) on the internet. Anyway, after a while I heard what sounded like a fan trying to spin on the fridge side. I unplugged the unit, removed the inside back panel on the fridge side. The entire coils and the fan had iced over. I removed all the ice, plugged the unit back in and it is now working. I will still replace this unit because I probably only corrected the symptom but the problem remains.

Samsung Refrigerator

This unit has a history of problems on the refrigerator side. the basic reset is press and hold down the 2 middle buttons on the freezer at the same time. As a general rule the number one problem is in the mother board. usually you can replace it and everything will work.
