How to adjust tracking on a DSR-11?

Try going to Esupport.sony.com they have most parts available through that website.

it seems your tracking needs to be looked at.also have a look at the tape open front section button at side slide open with your finger.look at the tape toward the light,if the edge of the tape is a bit wavey not straight you will need an alighnment as well.

dear, u need to change the memory cell of ur dsr-11 ,

if you plug & unplug cable after turning off ,perhaps you can the conector firewire on the vcr inside there are 4 yellow cables if not the conector defect.try to push the cable firewire litle up down side just to make sure

Sorry but there is no way to get that info other than through the menues. The remote is still available from Sony for $78.95 as part number 1-476-403-11

most likely problem is a misadjusted exit guide post. cleaning would not solve the problem; if you have a service manual and know how to adjust the guide, you can do it yourself. otherwise, it's a job for a technician with the proper test equipment.

There is a problem with the head. Mind did that after I had it on its side working. Luckily for a sticker feel into the head so it was an easy fix. 

I think you may have misconfigured something because the problem is not in your DSR-11 try connecting it to a monitor and you will see the time stamp and picture as proof of what I am saying. The problem I think is that your Mac is not processing the time stamp correctly.
