Follow these steps: Solution
This applies only to those systems with a built-in camera, the Acer Orbicam.

If the Acer Orbicam is missing or not installed, please follow the procedure below to reinstall the application.

Close all open applications on your computer and make sure your power cord is plugged into the back of the notebook.

1. Press ‘Alt + F10' to start eRecovery Management.
2. Enter default password of 6 zero's. Example: 000000
   (Note: if this default password does not work, then a different password has taken its place. Acer is not responsible for any forgotten or misplaced passwords.)
3. Select ‘Recovery Actions' and click ‘Next'
4. Select ‘Reinstall Applications/drivers' and click ‘Next'
5. On the left hand side of the newly opened window select the following: Windows XP
   ? Driver
   ?Camera
6. On the right side of the same window, click ‘Install Camera Driver Now'
7. The unit will reboot after the installation is complete.
