The problem is,the 970cxi usb and parrallel-port are nog recognizing by the pc.The cables are ok,the testpage from the printer is also ok.
What can be the problem!!

Go to control panel, and look at the ports to make certain they are enabled..if not, remove them, then do a scan for hardware changes, and then try it again. I recommend you remove anything plugged into those ports while doing this. check your computers warranty here 4 FREE

Remove the printer from your PC, delete the printer, restart the machine. Attach the printer, preferably with a USB cable and not the parallel cable. If you already had it using USB, attach it to a different USB port. Reinstall using the Windows driver instead of the driver that came with the printer. Your printer should work after that.
