Know where I can purchase a base (table stand) for a Westinghouse LTV-27w2? Not available from Westinghouse customer service.

That could be either the Power supply or the main board. I would think the main board is most likely because of the Blue screen you mentioned.

They are METRIC screws, either M5 or M6, but get M4 too jsut incase, you can get tehm at HD or Lowe's for about 35cents each so you can get different length to try out, more likely to be about 1/2".

T-CON board, check the connections between the T-CON and the Main LOGIC board first (very rarely to be the logic board but not 100% for sure). Most likely, a number of capacitors need to be replaced in the power supply on this set, OR possibly, there is a bad connection on a connection on the snubber capacitor in the power supply, near the SMT transformer--and I have seen this MANY times on westinghouse LCD sets. .
