The headphone does not turn on anymore

All the lights on the base work. It has been stored for a year and when I took them out the headphones just didn't turn on anymore even after charging for days, and trying brand new batteries. I'm thinking about openint them, or shipping them back to sennheiser but I don't know if that would be worth the money. Thanks for your help

I opened them and nothing seemed wrong inside. I think the problem is in the switch which is stored in a small metal casing. I shipped the headphones back to sennheiser yesterday without giving my credit card info so they give me a quote first...

So if there is anybody that can help with this I would be very happy to find out what the problem is (as only used them twice)

WELLTECH 40699 FKH51A repair

I the red led only comes on dimly, the new batteries are suspect, or they are not charged. You need to establish if its the headphones or the batteries at fault. To check the headphones remove the batteries and connect up some none rechargeable battery of the same voltage to the headphone battery connections. To check the batteries use a multimeter to measure the voltage at their terminals while they are out of the headphones. If its low compared to the value printed on them, you can either try more new batteries again, or replace the headphones completely.

Wireless? Are they connecting with the base? Try unplugging the base to reconnect. What are they connecting to? TV? computer? What?

I have a huge problem with these headphones (the Sennheiser HDR 120)... and my wife bought two of them... They have great sound on the computer, but once the green light turns off on the base? There...

The volume of the sound source (Mac) must be sufficient, otherwise the transmitter automatically turns off. Turn up the volume on the Mac, and turn down the volume on the headphones. There is no way to disable the Automatic On/Off function of the transmitter.

I have bought a pair of Sony wireless MDR-RF810RK, and after five to ten minutes of listening ,the transmission fails and the light switches off. If I switch on again it recommences for some...

Hello!
I must inform you that most of the wireless headphones has an automatic shut-off which puts it in stand-by when there is no sound going in to it. Or if the sounds in your device is too quiet the headphones will think you have finished using it.

What you need to do is increase the volume setting of your device. And turn the volume control on the headphones down then as well - assuming that your headphone base unit is connected to the headphone socket of your device.

Input fitting on headphone has broken, can this be fixed?jack wont stay plugged in

Hello. Yes it can be fixed. Take your headphone to any radio shack store and show it to one of the technicians there. They will show you the component you need to make the repair. Many times, a dab of one minute clear epoxy will mend too. Regards, Joe

No sound from RS130 headphones

I'm having the same problem with the RS140. Only a few weeks old, and no sound at all coming out (not even the beeps). Have replaced batteries and tried a different audio source. Base station lights are on and indicating it is receiving an audio signal, but nothing is going go the headphones.

Sennheiser Wireless Headphone Stops transmitting signal

I had the same problem when I plugged it into a new HDTV. The problem was that the sound on the TV was set too low. The transmitter has a feature that automatically turns off when the signal is off or too low. Try turning up the TV volume to a high/higher level and it should solve your problem. Using the headphone jack with the white input allows you to use the headphones while bypassing the TV speakers.

On/Off not lit when plugged in

There is help for this in the user manual. Possible solutions I would try:

1. Make sure your source sound (TV, amp etc) is up high enough - if the sound is too low the headphones won't detect a signal.

2. Try changing the channel (the switch on the bottom left of the cradle base) and pressing the "Tune" button on your headphones. Try all three positions, pressing "Tune" at least 3 times in each position.

3. Take out batteries & turn off base, leave for 30 secs, reassamble and try step 2 again.

Should all work ok. I've been using mine for over a year and they're great!

No sound, only static

Hi I had the same problem and just emailed Sennheiser.Go to the menu on your TV and change the variable audio output to fixed. I use the headphones through the home theatre so the volume must be max on the home theatre and then you can adjust your headphone volume. It absolutely worked and I don't get anywhere near the static noise when I go to another room with the headphones on that I got previously. Also be sure your audio cable is plugged into the fixed audio output socket. I did not have to do anything with that.
