This is actually a quick books issue that they blame on the printers
here are the follwing steps to resolve the issue
Quick Books (2009) qbprint.qbp file change
doc&settings\allusers\appdata\inuit\quickbooks
rename above mentioned file to qbprint.old
if its an erlier version of quickbooks ie. 2006, the file path is then: doc&settings\programfiles\inuit\quickbooks then look for the file and rename it
Here is the website from intuit that acknowledges the issue

The printer prints to regular paper fine but somehow the printer thinks there is a problem with the paper once I put pre-printed checks in. therefore, it is not a software problem.

I don't think it is a software problem. I encountered this problem using Quicken 2010. HP Officejet 6500A Plus would not print to Intuit preprinted checks. Interestingly it would however print is I turn check pages upside-down. Actual error message complains about paper size or type. But the same paper works if turned upside-down. I even tried printing to PDF first and printing from pdf viewer software. It again would print on the back but not the front side of checks. Sounds like a printer driver problem to me.

I have a hp 6500 officejet wireless printer that i jut put in new ink cartridge and all it does is print blank pages?

This happens as the ink needs some time to saturate the system. Usually one needs to print quite a few pages for the ink to flow through and get to the ink head. A better quicker way is to clean the ink heads with the aid of the software that came with your printer.

Navigate to your windows control panel and double click printers and faxes. Then right click on your HP Officejet 6500 printer and select properties. Then click the Print test page button. Check the manual for cleaning the ink head.

Take care!

Quickbooks forms will not print on newly installed HP 6500

I deleted the qbprint.qbp file and that fixed it for me. Aggravating regardless.

Quickbooks Pro 2007 Printing Blank Invoices

Go 'Lists' and then open 'Templates', double click on the product invoice and make sure the invoice is 'Active'.
Qbooks saves printer settings for each feature, regardless of which is set as 'default' in Windows...be sure you have the correct printer selected.
If the above are set correctly, go to HP's website and download the latest driver for your printer.
