Mitsubishi ws-55515 light blinking

The cox cable guy came out a couple days ago because our cable box was acting up and we were not getting certain regular channels and most hd channels(just a black screen) the problem was fixed(weak signal). Well when he left and I got home from work I turned the tv set on and It started blinking. It reset and then the tv turn on. All the netcommand devices were in different orders and some were changed/missing. I was leaving town for the weekend so I thought nothing of it. Came back tonight to find that the tv set will reset turn on and will show a static white black screen then about 30 seconds later shuts off and green light starts blinking. Then the light turns off. I tried unpluggin it and pluggin back in. Reset many times. Did the diagnostic procedure and blinks once, then two times. repeats five time. I read that this means no errors...so what is the deal??? I hope its not an expensive fix....

Just moved and when I plugged my tv in it just blinked for a few seconds. When I pushed the power button on the front of the tv it won't do anything. It won't power on. I can hear like a little motor running in the back

Sounds like the remote is not programed correctly or the input sources have been changed.

Call the cable company and complain that it worked before they came and shoud work afterwards.

Blinking green power light & shut down

There are (4) 1000uf @35V capacitors all together on the DM board that need to be replaced some models have 1000uf @ 16V but they are all right beside each other and all rated at 1000ufs the voltages will be stamped on the capacitor along with the uf ratings.

if the set is shutting down it should blink a code. Try pushing in the menu and input buttons on the set both at the same time and hold them in for 8 seconds to see if the self diagnosis will falsh a two digit code. Let me know what happens

Ws-55515

You will need to reset the Netcommand and tuner2.gif settings in the set.
The little indented button in the front of the set needs to be pushed in (when the set is off). The front light will blink for about a minute or minute and a half.
Then, reprogram the Netcommand settings.
This should solve your problem.

WS-55515 Loss of sound and HD blue screen

First check set for problems by:This model is equipped with a self-diagnosis feature to help with diagnosis of shutdown problems. To activate this turn the unit on let it shutdown then press the input and menu buttons on the front panel simultaneously and hold them in for 5 seconds after 5 seconds the power LED on the front panel will blink a two digit sequence. This will be one set of blinks a short pause then another set of blinks, this will repeat 5 times. 1 - 2 = no error detected 2 - 1 = X-ray protect (high voltage or beam current) 2 - 2 = Short protect (short protect monitors low voltage supplies) 2 - 3 = Deflection protect (this could be loss of vertical or horizontal deflection) 2 - 4 = Vertical protect (usually loss of vertical from the source) 1. Self-diagnosis error 2-3 indicating deflection failure. Check for shorted or leaky Q5A37 part # 260P818050 located on PCB-Main. If found defective replace only the transistor instead of the Main PCB.
