My HPdeskjet printer connected to my XP desktop prints fine, but my vista wieless laptop prints out backwards in a mirroe like image. Please help!!
You need to change the printer properties.
You can do this a few ways:
Click on the "Basics" tab.
The 3rd option under "orientation" will say "mirror image".
Make sure this is un-checked.
If your job printed out backwards then you must select Print as Image located in the top right corner of the print dialog box that shows up when you set your document to print:
Control Panel>>Printing>>Add a printer>>Add a Local Printer>>Create a new port>>local port>>next
Get the actual network name of the pronter. For example \\bobspc\HPdj3740
When it asks for the port name type it in exactly as it show in the network. (like the example given)
