It would be dry solder joints on the circuit board. Boards will need to be re flowed with solder. You will need to be skilled with a soldering iron otherwise will need to be done in workshop.

seems that your TV have a bad T-CON board, you have to take it apart and check for the exact part number on the board, because those sets have different version of those boards.
to give u an idea after you take it apart look at the top of the screen for a part like this :
Sounds like possibly it could be connection related between any AV/Cable ports. Worst case would be the capacitors of the motherboard leaking. It's possible to fix anything. Just make sure you have the knowledge and the right equipment.
The dreaded loose connection syndrome, this could be easy or hard to trace, only solusion is checking circuit boards for bad connections , it may be also capacitors in power supply neading replaced, not a novice repair
Sounds lamp in TV getting weaker and soon it will be replaced. When dlp tv start showing darker picture then its time for new lamp to get back vivid picture.

Open the back of the TV,and look at the can shaped items on the board that the power cord is hooked to.If any of them have the tops,or bottoms bulged out,they need to be replaced.This should get it working again.So far I have fixed four of the same make,and model TV as this,and they all had either one,or two bad capacitors.I hope this helps.If you have any other questions,please let me know.Thank You very much!
i setup a remote code on the remote so the tv goes on /off and the volume but no picture on screen how when i put the dvd player i can see the movie but noy regular tv please help
If you open the back,look at the can shaped items.If any of them have the tops bulged out,they need to be replaced.This should solve your picture problem,unless there is something else wrong.What is happening,is they are heating up,and the picture goes out.I bet the longer you have the TV off,the longer it stays on?Hope this helps.Thank You very much!

this modle has a bad solder connection near the horizontal o/p transistor that causes the picture to fade in & out.the bad solder connection is on a small coil. the coil winding is typically red. looking at the back of the tv, the flyback has the rid wire going to the top of the tube, the horizontal o/p transistor is to the left & in font of the flyback, it's attached to an aluminum heatsink. directly in font of this heatsink is the coiul you are looking for, it should have a location id of L14XXX or L4XXX if I remember corectly.
