Dymo don't do spare parts for their machines - because most of them are so cheap now that it's much cheaper to buy a new one than it is to repair them.

This is especially so for the LetraTAG machines which are the cheapest in the Dymo label maker range.

For that price it's a no-brainer - if the display is unreadable just buy a new one!

How do you change the font and size on a dymo letratag?

Aside from changing the size, printing as big or small and using symbols, the LetraTAG does not offer various fonts. This model is pretty basic and has the one font and that is all.

The manual can be found at this location:

We have a Dymo hand held office labeler which ran out of ink. How do you replace the ink- This machine hold the 1/2 x 13 tape

No ink required. You just got bad tape cartridge. Replace with a new cartridge. This unit burns the letters into the tape.

Hi I'm wondering if the Dymo pocket will take a tape, so that I can iron labels on to clothing or even be stitched on. If so what would the cassette be called. Thanks

The Dymo label printer capable of printing iron on tape is the Dymo Letratag. There are a couple of model printers

Dymo Letratag - handheld model
Dymo Letratag - desktop model with qwerty keyboard

and the Dymo 18771 Letratag iron on tape is the tape cartridge available.

Dymo Letra Tag

It runs on heat transfer. It probably needs new batterys. If youve been on a labeling spree you've most likel killed it.

Dymo LetraTag 2000 hand held printer

This Unit does NOT take ink. That is one of it's "benefits." Since it uses heat transfer, im thinking it either needs new batteries, or it's heat device has been expended. This is a cheap little maker, so it isnt made to handle the abuse of an office: it's meant for a label from week to week. If you went on a label spree all over the house, you killed it. Hope this helps!
