HELP java script void cant send instant messages on F-book

HELP please when on f-book and trying to use instant chat dose not send message, computer says java script void tried going into active scripting >enabled ,status updates via scripts>disabled ,allow websites to prompt for info using scripted windows >disabled,scripting of java applets>enabled & allow scripting of microsoft web browser controll >enabled thanks so much

HI,

You don't need to download the JAVA script for your mobile.It is already Java/ECMA(J2ME)enabled phone.Im sure that there must be a setting for that in your phone.I'll see if there is an user manual available for your model.

Solution 1

Open internet explorer

To enable scripting:

Click the "Tools" menu on your Internet Explorer toolbar and select "Internet Options."

Click the "Security" tab.

Click the Internet (globe) icon and click the "Custom Level" button.

Scroll down to "Scripting."

Enable the following:

* Active scripting
* Allow paste operations via script
* Scripting of Java applets are all enabled

Click the OK button at the bottom of the window.


Solution 2


1. On your keyboard, hold down the Windows key and press the R key. This opens the "Run" command.

2. Type in appwiz.cpl and click OK. This opens "Add or Remove Programs."

3. Select Java and then click the Uninstall button. There may be multiple installed versions, so be sure to remove all of them.

4. Next, download and install the latest version of Java Runtime Environment

5. To ensure the update is effective please Clear the Yahoo! Messenger Cache

6. Restart Messenger to determine if the issue is resolved.

Hi,

You may not have Internet Explorer as your default browser but it still plays an important part in the operation of Yahoo Messenger. It sits as a link between your browser and Yahoo Messenger.
For this reasson you must keep it up to date and the support software for IE as well.

Keep your software up to date by using an update checker

Start with IE and then any support software for Yahoo Messenger - Flashplayer - Shockwaveplayer - Java etc.
Cross check by visiting the Yahoo Messenger Scripting Help page

After updating check you do not have old versions of Flashplayer, Shockwaveplayer and Java running alongside the latest - this can cause conflicts
You will have 2 versions if you have 2 browsers so be careful not to delete them.
Start / control panel / programs
delete any old versions

Click "Internet Options."
Click "Security" tab.
Click "Custom Level" button.
Scroll down to "Script ActiveX.controls marked safe for scripting"- enable

I cant see my conversation message with my chatmate.but my chatmate see my messages

plz folow this step to solve your problem,


One of you has a scripting problem.
When you type a message and 'send' it, you should be able to read it in the upper conversation window. Likewise when you receive a message, it should be visible in the Conversation window.
If this is the case the fault lies with your contact's computer.

Email this to them

You may have scripting disabled in your Internet Explorer.
To enable scripting:

Click "Tools"
Click "Internet Options."
Click "Security" tab.
Click "Custom Level" button.
Scroll down to "Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting"- enable

Hello, when chatting with yahoo my message box doesn't show any message including my own message to others and others message as well. When some one send message, a little window shows it for a little bit...

I cant see text when chatting on yahoo messenger. It has been working well until today.
I had the same problem.
Luckyly I found an easy solution.

Close yahoo messenger
STEP -1
go to Start Button - Run - type regsvr32 jscript.dll - then press OK
STEP-2
go to Start Button - Run - type regsvr32 vbscript.dll - then press OK

After that everything worked smoothly.

Conversation area does not show after tapping enter botton and i cannot add emotions when chatting.
make sure you have the latest version, if you do then you will have to uninstall and reinstall messenger

The dialogue box on yahoo messenger does not show messages, whether those received or sent online or offline, i have deleted and reinstalled different versions but the problem still continues
The messages are probably not going to your account - check your login and password. Additionally, Yahoo does not seem to work properly unless Java is installed and working. For example it will not display animated emoticons and games will not work without java.

I have downloaded latest and previous version of Yahoo Messenger
Go to add/remove programs and remove any and all versions of Yahoo Chat. Then download the latest version again and make sure you have the latest update for Java Script also

Unable to chat
If you are using Java Chat or Chat2.0 with the SUN Java Runtimes, your Instant messages will not leave the input line when you press "send" or enter. To fix this problem, go to start, settings, control panel, internet options, click the "advanced" tab and scroll down to "Java (SUN)". Remove the check from "Use Sun Java".
