I need serial number for my diskinternals partition recovery 3.7. where can i find them?

To what? You have to give us a clue, we don't read minds and can't see through your computer.

Most Net Books running Windows XP Starter do not have a built in system recovery.

Look in my computer or system management right click the hard drive and see if it has a second partition( main partition C, recovery partition D).

Try pressing F12 at start up to go to system recovery.

If you didn't make a set of recovery dvd's or cd's when you first bought your machine, then you can purchase a set by going to the HP site with your serial number, model, etc.

Do you have access to a Windows XP machine that you can try to use the drive with? Maybe a friend's computer? I would try using it with such a system and run chkdsk on the drive to make sure that the partition is healthy; otherwise, you might want to buy the DiskInternals program that may be able to help you revive the partition.

Download and install the software in a PC. All you need to scan is the pendrive, your data will be intact if you have not written any file in the pendrive after the incident.
