Hello,

It is the picture picture board on your monitor that is malfunctioning, since the power led or button is on, but blue shaded screen, it means the picture board of your monitor has developed fault.

The best thing for you to do now is to take the monitor to a local repairer within your vicinity or any service center to help with the replacement of the picture board because the fault is not something you can fix yourself, in order not to complicate issues.

Take care.

For non technical people who need a solution on how to fix the Blue Screen of Death, there is no simple answer to that.
The Windows operating system constantly refers to the registry to get information about all of the components such as hardware and software which are installed on the computer. The registry tells Windows what to do and how to access the various programs, files, and processes.

How can I get the monitor blue screen control panel to turn off

You can spray the switches with WD40 and depress them many times. If that doesn't work then you have to replace all the switches if you can handle a soldering iron.

Acer h233h monitor has blue tint all over screen

It's any one of these issues in decreasing importance video cable, video card, monitor. Make sure the video cable is plugged into the monitor and computer firmly first. After that, start replacing until you hit the culprit. You should be able to take any one of these items back to the store if it doesn't fix it.

Monitor looks like right half blue shade

Either your monitor or the video card inside the computer is going bad. To isolate the problem connect another monitor to the computer. Borrow a monitor from a neighbor, friend, relative or co-worker and connect it to the computer. If the Borrowed monitor displays ok that means your video card is ok, but your original monitor is bad. If the Borrowed monitor displays the same blue shade then your video card inside the computer is bad.

Hi my monitor has bright colours on it and i cant make out what im doin its really bright and hurts my eyes

Turn off the pc but leave the monitor on. unhook the monitor from the pc. the screen SHOULD run a "self test" with a moving white green red blue box. if that box is on a bare black screen and there are no bright spots or cracks or anything weird looking, then the screen itself is ok. If however, you see odd shades of blue and pink and it looks cracked or scratched or has lines in it, then it is time to replace that screen.

Monitor won't start when I boot up - without a lot of fiddling!

First try to do monitor self test.Disconnected the blue cable VGA or white colour connector from monitor to the computer. Turn on the monitor and check if you are able to see colours or line on the monitor.Indicating self test monitor is working fine. If you are using Video card on computer connect monitor directly to onboard video and check. Good Luck.

LCD monitor screen blue

Either the VGA card or the monitor can not display the resolution correctly, so you need to get it back to where it was, this solution is for Windows users (not sure about other OSs), reboot your system and and get in the options start-up screen by pressing F8 at boot, choose safe-mode with VGA, if you see your desktop normally here then it's definately the screen resolution, set it back to a lower resolution (try 1024X768 and go downwards until it works fine), restart your system normally and you should be able to test new resolutions again, if it won't work using VGA mode then you might need to uninstall your VGA card but make sure that you have the correct driver for it before uninstalling, also please disable any onboard graphics card if you have one. I hope this would solve your problem, please feel free to ask if you any further questions regarding this matter. Thanks
