Im looking for a bag for a 1990 craftsman eager 1 chipper vacuum

Finding a specific bag for a 1990 Craftsman Eager 1 chipper vacuum might be challenging due to the age of the machine. However, there are a few options you can explore:
  1. Contact the manufacturer: Reach out to Craftsman directly or visit their website to inquire about replacement parts for older models. Provide them with the model number and any other relevant information to see if they have a compatible bag available.
  2. Check online marketplaces: Search on websites like eBay, Amazon, or other online marketplaces for vintage or used replacement bags. Sometimes, sellers might have discontinued or hard-to-find parts available for older equipment.
  3. Visit local repair shops: Local repair shops that specialize in outdoor power equipment or small engines might have access to vintage or discontinued parts. Visit or call these shops to see if they have a bag that fits your Craftsman Eager 1 chipper vacuum.
  4. Explore generic alternatives: If you are unable to find an exact replacement bag, you can consider generic alternatives. Measure the dimensions of the existing bag or the bag attachment on the machine and search for a similarly sized bag that could fit. Outdoor equipment stores or online retailers that sell replacement bags for chippers or leaf vacuums might have options that could work.
Remember to double-check the compatibility of any replacement bag you find to ensure it will fit your specific model.

I have a craftsman GT3000 with a 48" deck. The blade belt was old so I thought I could replace the belt without removing the deck. Not a good idea. I unsprung the tension spring to remove the belt. Had...

Use a long pry bar the fits the s[ring end and lever the end against a solid part of the base, then stretch the spring and let it slide into the rtaining slot. The long bar is the key since it will multiply your leverage by a huge factor.

Will a snow thrower 42" Mod. no. 486.248392

As long as your deck mounts match up then you should be good to go. You might have to change to a different sized belt though. Other than that everything should be fine.
