I coulnd not find the owners manual online, however if you can take a pic of the top of the deck I could probably tell you how to string the belt

Use a long pry bar the fits the s[ring end and lever the end against a solid part of the base, then stretch the spring and let it slide into the rtaining slot. The long bar is the key since it will multiply your leverage by a huge factor.
