Not getting fax report and want to set time and date on l80 faxph

Press function then data registration and set/ok.It will say user settings,press the arrow down to get report settings,press set/ok,it will say tx report press set/ok and use the arrows to get output yes,press set/ok and stop!It will print one after every fax u send!Enjoy!

if you enable send report you can get an a4 page with time and date confirming that the fax has been sent, but when set up it will print for every fax. the other option is to have it print on error only and you can manually print report of sent recieved items( all date and time stamped) with the number sent to as a list.

press the dataregistration button,press set,use the arrows to scroll down to usersettings,press set again,time&date will be displayed,press set and change the date and time.

Press function and then report but u will only get the last 40 faxes that was sent or recieved!

I don't think there's a log you can print but you can do the following. Not quite what you want, but better than nothing...

You need to set the fax confirmation option to log faxes before you send anything. The default option is off, so you won't be able to get a fax log for anything you've already sent unfortunately.

1. Press Setup
2. Press 2 then press 1. This displays the Print Report menu
3. Select Fax Confirmation
4. Press to highlight one of the following, then press OK

Off Does not print a fax confirmation report when you send and receive faxes successfully. This is the default setting.
On Fax Send Prints a fax confirmation report for every fax you send.
On Fax Receive Prints a fax confirmation report for every fax you receive.
Send & Receive Prints a fax confirmation report for every fax you send and receive.

Make sure the transmitter knows how to send a FAX, i personally wasted a lot of time and paper because the sender doesn't know that the FAX machine had an automatic document feeder and that all pages has to be put in position before sending, and not page by page while sending.
Also see in the FAX manual if it can avoid printing the transmission report. Most Panasonic Faxes can do that.

First print out your user data.
Press Function, then Report, then arrow down to User Data List and press Set. This gives you a printout of your present menu set.

Now press Function, press Data Registration, press Set. Arrow down to Report settings, press Set.

Select TX Report, select yes.

You can also select that the first page of the document sent shows up on the confirmation report.

Press Function, Data Registration, and then Set. Use the up/down arrows to select "report settings", then Set again. Using the arrows and Set change the values or TX REPORT and RX REPORT to "YES".
