Remove the front panel to find where the gas injectors enter the burner tubes you will see they are cut away and have a screw holding an outer ring which is adjustable, open them up more to get more air in .

Yellow flame

The problem is with the orifice leading to the burner. If it is not centred then you will get yellow flame. Or you are impeding the flow out of the burner and it is not mixing properley. I would pull the burners apart and make sure everything is clear and the orifice is centred.

If you are getting soot residue, it could be a number of things, First, is this a natural gas or propane oven? If you bought an oven to be used for propane, it may need to be converted from natural gas to propane or it will soot everything up. 2nd, have you recently spilled food/liquid onto the oven burner? If the burner holes are partially plugged, the remaining holes will burn large yellow flames and soot up the oven. Check the burner flames, they should be mostly blue with little to no yellow tips. Also make sure the oven burner flames are not too big. They should never exceed the width of the flame spreader pan directly above the burner, in fact they should be less than half the width. You could also have other issues like improper air shutter adjustment to the oven burner or very low regulator pressure, but most likely it has just been spilled on recently.

Usually this happens if something has been spilled or a pan overflowed and is partially clogging some of the burner holes. Make sure the burner holes are clear and try poking them with a sewing needle to make sure. I am assuming the flames are a nice blue color and not a lazy yellow or yellow-tipped. If there is some orange, that is usually an indication you are burning off some food and will need to be cleaned. If that doesn't appear to be the issue, then let us know and we'll dig deeper. Large yellow flames after the oven is on and getting up temp

The needle maybe damaged or missing inside of the hood, unscrew the hood and remove it, look at the needle and make sure it is intact, put a little liquid soap into the hood threads and screw it back on until it bottoms out, it will be much easier to feel it bottoming out if it has lube on it, if this does not work, call them and have them send you a LP specific hood rather than the adjustable type.

Converted a ge gas to lp. the oven and broiler has too much flame

You must close the gas valve orifice. There is a gas valve (silver or grey colored rectangular shaped piece which feeds the burner(s)) that has a brass or gold-colored hex nut. This nut (1/2 inch) needs to be tighten down clockwise to the stop point. This will regulate the flame.

Creda 4 burner, converted to LP

Your flame is perfect if it's just the very tip that is yellow or white. All burners should be adjusted this way, on highest flame.
