No not really. the cheapest and most easy way of doing it is to buy an fm trnsmitter most electronic shops sell them they work by sending the music into a pre tuned fm channel on the deck its a bit like a wire less input

Fisher 143a CD Changer

HI...
You wont be able to play any new format CDs on an old Fisher or any other older make . It 's the internal decoder logic that's needed. And older players dont have it.
As far as top-loaders..Do a websearch . I dont know of any.

Aux input for sony car stereo (cdx c 5000r)

For Sony Stereos, you will need to get what is called a Bus Converter. The RCA ports you are trying to use are for a CD changer or alternate device like satellite or HD radio, and those have to have some sort of frequency signal to even be selected. You can find a Bus Converter that will allow you to use this as an Auxiliary input. The device you are looking for is called a Sony XA 300, and it will allow you Two extra Aux Inputs, I believe.

Ipod hookup

I believe that you are lucky since the "P" in the model number of the deck indicates and extra input source on the rear of your deck. This is used right now by your changer. You need to replace the changer with the Ipod and you are done. Stereo mini to dual rca's and you are done.

Mp3 player or ipod connection

If you have a CD changer connected it is quite easy, if not I can't imagine a solution.
With a CD changer you need a cinch-Y-cable and a cinch-to-stereo jack adaptor. You connect these two to you ipod and the second port of the cinch-Y-cable to your CD changer.
Then you can burn a CD with no sound on it, but it must not be empty! You can use NERO Waveeditor to record "nothing" for the length of one CD and then burn this file.
If you play this CD in the CD changer and press the play button on your ipod you'll hear your itunes. If you play another CD in your CD changer while listening to your ipod you'll hear both sounds.

Have fun.
