Cant get it to use softner out of dispencer - Maytag EPIC MFW9700S Front Load Washer

Just fixed the fabric softner dispenser for my wife, so I wrote a tip about it...

Clean out dispenser it maybe clogged due to softner,rember clean dispencer and machine once a month.

Remove the lid and check the dispensor solenoid

Take off the top of the front loader, topfrontleft is the dispenser, there is a movable part that was incrusted and unablble to freely move, clean off parts, little water will do, the movavable piece should move back to the roman numeral one, it is spring loaded, put top back on, done.

Check to make sure the litle cups are set in place correctly and also make sure they are not blocked with hard fabric softner. A quick test: pour water directly into the fabric sofnter cup and fill it up,IF it siphons out, you will need a new inlet valve for that unit. The inlet valve has soliniods on it for the bleach & fabric softner.

the fabric softner drains or flushs down in the rinse cycles,,,now if you fill past the line or open in dispencer it will sphion down by it self,,in short your overfilling dispencers,,onthejob

you need to take out dispenser draw and clean out under tap
the softner dispenser syphons out and if channels are gluged up the dispenser will not empty

The fabris dipencer hose was clug need to remove hose , clean w/ stick not so tight rinse w/ water then assemble .

check the water solenoid for open circuit, this is the water valve that supplies water to the compartment

soak the fabric softner in HOT water. that should loosen the dried caked up softner. if the cup is removable, remove and soak in hot water
