It sounds as though you have tried resetting the brake to no avail. If I were you any Monday through Friday at 1300 - 1500 I would be in my local Husky dealer (not Lowes). Someone familiar with the saw that can see and touch it. I suspect you will need parts once the problem is isolated, order them there and the diagnosis will probably be gratis. Factor in the shipping and handling fee and most dealer prices are competitive.

If you have more questions or need additional help please reply below and I will get back to you. Good Luck. HTH

I have a new 455 rancher chainsaw husky 20inch bar chain keeps coming off new chain

You may have a bent bar, or you could be putting the chain on a little too loose. Perhaps the chain is not getting lube ?
Possible that the chain tentssioner and or adjustment is loosening up as you are using the unit. Other than that maybe a defective new blade ?

I have a rancher 455 and it's not suppling enough oil to the bar. Is there an adjustment for this?

The 455 has a 3 position adjustable oil pump, the adjuster screw is up under the crankcase, sprocket side, you need a flat blade screw driver.

Loosen or tighten chain on a 445 Husqurna Rancher chain saw

If this is the tooless system, flip open the wing on the bar cover securing nut, slacken off one turn, now use the knurled wheel in the cove to slacken, or tighten the chain, if it has two 13mm bar nuts, slacken them off one turn each, then use a flat blade screw driver through the side cover, betwwen the bar nuts to adjust the chain, the screw is quite small so clean away the saw dust to locate it.

Chainsaw clutch/chain break cover installationis a pain in the neck...

First make sure it is clean and be sure the brake is disengaged. If the problem is getting the bar/chain lined up while trying to install the cover set up some blocks like 4X4s to keep the bar in line as you assemble the cover while the saw is on it's side.

I have a husqvarna 455 rancher. the chain brake is locked! how can i fix this?

Remove the side cover to access the brake. Look for bent or broken components or maybe just sawdust is blocking the action. Good luck!
