Have you checked that you are 'telling' the copier to use the correct size of paper? You need to tell it that you are using eg an A5 image sheet and an A4 output sheet. The normal default is A4 for both.

Please have a look at the attached image to see where to look inside the Ricoh printer for the waste toner bottle.
You have to remove the transfer unit before you take out the waste toner bottle, as per image.

Transfer belt mark detection error
• The main motor is operating; and
the lock signal is detected. → The

• Image transfer belt out of position
• Belt mark blurred or absent

I would remove the pcu unit (3 screws)and check the transfer assy belt mark and clean the sensor that reads the belt mark. Worst case senerio is replaceing the entire pcu unit.

Hi sir; No matter who told you to replace, the hot roller is the most possibility, the next item also last item you need to check is drum unit (drum cleaning blade,[replace it ], image transfer roller [clean up by alcohal] and drum [ depend condition ]).

The problem (s) could be; defective main motor, image transfer belt out of position, belt mark blurred or absent.

A ITB belt inspection and/ or repair would be a job for tech.
Or you could just order a new PCU which would fix the problem.

THE MACHINE NEED TO BE CLEANED FROM INSIDE. SOME PARTS ARE DIRTY AND THEY DO NOT APPLY WITH THE NEEDED VOLTAGE BECAUSE OF THE DIRT.
THOSE ARE LIKE CHARGE CORONA ,LASER GLASS UNIT OR THE DRUM UNIT IS WASTED AND DO NOT ATTACH THE TONER ON GOOD.
SO IF YOU HAVE A TECHNICAL BACKGROUND YOU MAY TRY OPEN THE MACHINE AND CLEAN THE MACHINE WITH VACUM CLEANER AND CORONA CHARGE WITH ALCOHOL BUT BE CAREFUL TO NOT TOUCH THE DRUM OR SCRATCH HIM OR CLEAN WITH SOMETHING YOU CAN ONLY WIPE THE DRUM WITH SOFT PICE OF CLOTHE

Please open the front door and turn the blue lever in the middle,
remove the Transfer and Separation unit and check if the bushings of the transfer roller are damaged.
If OK, please give some oil on the shaft/bushings of the transfer roller. This unit may be replaced as a whole unit.
If SC401 re-occurs, please check the Photoconductor unit (drum).

This is an error related to the laser unit.
Switch off the machine.
Please replace the Polygon mirror motor situated in the laser unit.

5. Replace the drum peripheral component
motor.
6. Replace the I/O control board.
7. Replace the main control board.
