The television is three years old and I have replaced the bulb three times already so when it wouldn't turn on I figured it was just that again. I checked the bulb though and it is fine. Usually, when it is the bulb the power button blinks three times but this time it is blinking ten times before shutting off. Other then throwing the television out the window do you have any solutions?

I have the same problem. I have replaced the bulb 3 times as well and this time it did not fix it. I took out the ballast circuit board and had that fixed (tristatemodule.com) for <$100 but that did not fix it either. The next thing to try would be the ENTIRE light engine and then the main board or the power supply... do you see where this ends up going when you are dealing with RCA (Really Crappy Appliance!) DLP's! I have done A LOT of research on these RCA DLP's and I think throwing it out the window is the only way to go! I am going to part mine out if anyone wants to try and fix theirs. I'm at [email protected]. Now I will continue my search for a NEW LCD flat-panel. My advice to anyone in the market for a new TV. DO NOT buy DLP! It is a money pit!
