Hello

In the CBL/SAT or TV mode, use the FAV key to start a 3-second scan of all

channels.Or, if programmed, use the FAV key to scan only your favorite
channels to view a desired channel

Press CBL/SAT or TV once.

Press FAV once.

• IfFavorite Channel Scan has been set up, scanning of

favorite channels will start with up to 100 channel changes
or until stopped by pressing any key.

IfFavorite Channel Scan has not been set up, scanning

will start with the current channel, and continue up to
100 channel changes or until stopped by pressing any key.

To stop scanning channels at any time, press any key
once.

There is some problem in semi conductor install inside TV from where it catch signals from remote, detect frequency and change and adjust your desire frequency and then your fav channel comes on screen
get it repaired only that part which receive signals from remote

Take off the battery, open the back of your remote, lift the circuit board clean the green painted part of the circuit board with cotton balls slightly damp in rubbing alcohol, as well as the black thingy at the back of your remote pad, let it dry put it back together, change with a new battery and see if it works.

Menu>Parental, Fav's & Setup>System Setup>Remote>Program Remote. From here, just follow the onscreen insructions. Enjoy!

Actually, you can go into the system settings by choosing "Parental, Fav's & Setup" then choose "system setup" then choose "remote" the IR/RF setup. Change it to IR and follow the instructions. Once I did that my remote worked on my DirecTV DVD HR22-100
