At first, while the tv (RCA L37WD12 flat screen LCD) was on and operating normally, suddenly all control was lost. No response from the remote, or front panel buttons. Picture and sound stayed on. Normal operation was usually restored by unplugging and replugging AC power. But often the solenoid inside the tv would click, the green "on" light on the front panel came on, but the screen would stay black with no sound, until AC was "reset" again. Often several "AC resets" were required until normal function was restored. Finally, the "AC reset" would not work at all anymore. The red standby light shows on the front panel, but no green light, no solenoid click, no picture or sound, and no response from any control input. Is this fixable? Any advice would be appreciated, and a schematic or repair manual would be wonderful.

Ur Tuner board have problems,just not dead yet.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish Tuner board for the replacement.The Tuner board main IC have intermitten short,that why take out A/C power input work for awhile,and than back to the same problems.
I have this same TV and the same problem but mine started out only doing this while i had it on satellite (dish network) and when i would unplug the sat reciver the TV would work just fine, but now my tv does this all the time. I dont know if this is something that the satellite caused or if it is the tv its self, but it is kinda weird how it only started doing it when the satellite was plugged in, and now does it all the time
The satellite box is the cause.Call DISH NETWORK to give U a replace satellite reciever box.

My set has the same problem but not due to connectivity with sattelite box, mine began after I hooked it up to the VGA connection to my computer and a virus got thrugh my firewall, Exactly the same issue.
